Tom Cully's New Do

So one day I was searching good ol' Youtube for some Libera treasure hunting, and lookie what I found. I couldn't believe my eyes! Watch the video and you'll see.

Yeah, I said "No way that's Tom." but it really is. This awesome guy in the video is Tom Cully from Libera. Can you believe it?? Look at how much he's grown! It's crazy, right. RIGHT?? His voice has changed so much since he sang the Ave Virgo solo.

I know, I know, this video has been on Youtube for a while now, but I really wanted to share it with you guys. Tom's just too much for me to take on my own :)

But anyways, getting back to the point... Tom is really taking a big leap and flying solo in the musical world. Who knows, maybe Libera was just the beginning of his debut. Tom, we really enjoyed your time in Libera and you were definetely one of my Fearsome Five(Josh Madine, Liam Connery, Ben Phillipp, Tom Cully, Michael Horncastle, which were originally "my guys". It was hard to make the switch to all the little ones, but I'm feeling better about it.) Now, Tom, be free! Be Liberated! Haha that is such a corny joke. We'll miss your angelic voice, but keep on entertaining us with your original music.

Well, just in case you were wondering... you know when I posted that Song of Life video and said to pay attention at a certain part of it? Josh was blown up on the screen for those few seconds. I was mortified when I saw it, and I was so stupid and kept rerunning it over and over and over just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Let me tell you, I looked pretty retarded :) It was worth it though. Now I have a ton of proof that Josh indeed is still in Libera. Boy, life really feels fresher, doesn't it? Haha!

Let's move on, shall we? All thanks to the Libera Official Website and those fancy schmansy photographers out there(no credits for myself cuz I wasn't there with the camera:) the pictures from the tour are here! Whopee!

 To start us off, a fine pic from whatever place this was. These pictures are in chronological order most of the time(let's hope), so I'm guessing this was from the first Toronto concert. Big boys front and center with the younger and shorter(and cuter :) singers trailing behind. They look so professional!

Aww, guys, stop being cute!! No, take that back, keep the cuteness level to the full max!! Some lovely pictures of Ralph and Jude playing fake hockey. Ralph looks so concentrated, but Jude is really kicking up the fun!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO big breath OOOOOOOOOOOO. That's how Libera sings! Can't beat it!! I can see a bunch of the yonger boys in this picture.

Awwww they remind me a lil bit of bunny rabbits in this one!

Freddie Ingles is the cutest thing! He's just like look at me cuz im a cute little boy. And guess what else? When I start to sing, I'm gonna blow your socks off!

In the church and all, they look like angels descending from above with heavenly music to enchant all of us here on earth, mesmerizing our souls with pure serenity flowing from their lips.. yeah that's what Libera music does to your brain... it enhances your vocabulary! :)

Now it's starting to look like a concert! For some reason, the picture with the boys in the hoods, yeah that scared me a little. Don't they look like ghosts?

These look like studio pictures, not tour pictures. I truly wish I was there. Sniffle, sniffle.

Niagara Falls! Well, I guess if you're going to Canada, you might as well stop by the falls, cuz it's one of the most awesome places in Canada. The view looks great, guys!

Stuck in the tunnels! I saw them from the American side, I think. Is that Liam taking a picture on the left? Maybe that's too tall to be Liam.. or Mini-James is really mini! Don't worry Mini-James, that's why you're so cute!

Now THAT"S what I call a funny picture, Mini-Moose just met Big Moose!

Hi, Sammy, Daniel, and Jakob. You're really enjoying that view! I bet you aren't enjoying the cold weather! Well, let me tell you guys, I was there and I was wearing a t-shirt! Aren't you so jealous! Well, I was there last May, so I guess I have nothing to brag about. I hope it's warm in England!

Okay, people, I ask you, can you get any cuter than this?? Mini-James and the seagull are having a staring contest. No, really, it's the cutest thing ever!

I don't know WHAT these kids were doing, but bringing the stuffed moose along to the concert made me laugh for five minutes straight! Kavana's just nonchalantly passing the thing to Cassius(I think). If I was there, I would have needed a pillow to stuff my laughing face in. I wonder what they said about the moose.
Cassius: And this is our stuffed moose, which is our new best friend and partner. I hope you wecome him on every single tour we go on, or he's gonna go Canadian on you. Really.
HAHAHAHAHA

Mid-concert lights. They were right about their costumes glowing up with the colors. Very fancy and attractive. Who knew monk clothes were so hip?

I think this is my favorite picture in the entire album. The effects and the colore, and the boys kneeling down, and I like how I can see the orchestra on the side. This picture has everything!

The boys are just glowing with pride! The concert is over, the audience is going wild, and it's about time they got a nap, too!

That's a very nice group picture! Who are the men in the back? Probably part of the crew.

Oh NO!!!! It's the attack of the Libera Boys! They're going for the CN Tower! Run for your life!!! XD

That's an awesome group picture! Silly me, I was looking for Josh in this one for some reason. It's okay, one day, he'll be back. For now, everybody looks great!

Look at 'em big boys! Wow I can't believe how tall(and cute :))) they are! Mini-Ben just isn't mini anymore. Jonathan hasn't changed very much, but you can obviously tell he's pretty tall. As for Liam, what can I say, he's towering! I bet I would barely come up to his shoulder. I don't know why, but to me, Liam is still that little redhead kid in older videos. It's weird seeing him all big and tall and stuff. And Mini-Ben's still that really tiny person with the crystal voice(as my mom often calls it when he sings). Well, all their voices have grown richer, which is a plus. Oh well. Nice pic guys!

Great picture, even though by now, they're probably sick and tired of taking pictures and being in concerts and they just want to go home. It takes real strength to keep yourself up for that long. Proud of all of you!

Pic looks really cool with the church and the sun outlining the clouds. I think this was Easter?

WHOAAA! That's a hugggeee church! The acoustics must have been great!

I hope they weren't blinded by that giant light right in their faces! ;)

Venus in Eros

Well, I am SOOOO SHOCKED!!! I visited a ton of Libera fanblogs, and Libera is partaking in yet another movie!!!!!!!!! It's called Venus in Eros and it's a part of that Cannes Movie Festival thingymagingy(I honestly have no clue what that is). A ton of songs off the Peace album are gonna be on the soundtrack.

1) Ave Virgo- that's a really nice song! I'm glad they're putting Tom into consideration, even though it's a shame he's not in Libera anymore :(

2)Air- whell!!! This song is really close to Ave Virgo... do I see a pattern here? Even though it's an older song, it's still a really really good one! Tom again!!

3)Touch the Sky- simple, clear, and James Mordaunt. What more could you ask for :)

4)Panis Angelicus- now, really? That pattern I was talking about earlier... yeah it's definetely here. All these songs are so closely related. And Daniel does a good job on this song!

5)How Shall I Sing That Majesty?- I love this song so much! The harmonies at the end are stunning.

Now, I think that's the most exposure Libera's gotten since the Papal Mass at Yankee Stadium and that Hannibal movie. But.... it doesn't end there. On the official Venus in Eros website( http://www.venusineros.co.uk/), I happened to be surfing the cast and crew part. I could not believe my eyes!!!!!!!

Just for the fun of it, here's the description:

Story:

In a deep forest, the statue of Venus stands alone.
The winter snows end and the ice melts into the river.
As the spring arrives two other statues, David and Eros, are
installed besides her. Venus instantly falls in love with
David.

During the summer Venus falls asleep in the moon light.
While dreaming Venus becomes human and realizes David also
loves her. In a fit of jealousy Eros shoots an arrow at a
sculptor to control his mind to destroy the statue of Venus.
The love triangle dramatically alters into a tragedy.

Time passes by. Falling golden leaves in the forest turn into
falling snow. At Christmas Eve seven angels visit the forest
and sing for Venus and shake hands saying 'Merry Christmas'.
After the angels disappear the falling snow changes into a
storm. The storm changes her fate completely.

Then....


Yeah.. I don't really get the picture. Do you? Oh well, at least our Seven Angels are there:)

Last thing.. I think the names they gave the boys in the movie are hysterically funny. Cassius is Angel Cassiel.. hahahahahahahahahaha. HAHA!!!

It's Been A While!!!

I cannot believe how long it's been since I've posted!! Please forgive me; I have been stuck in my schedule. It's like a mud pit that you can't seem to get out of... ugh!!! Well, enough about me. Let's get down to some real business. Libera.

In my absence.... there have been a BAZILLION Libera things going on! I don't think there is a humanly way to put it all in one post! It's been ranging between Josh news, movies, concerts, etc.etc. So, we're gonna take this real slow and one at a time. WHEEE! Here we go!

Okay. In one of my earlier posts, I was really worried that Josh had gone out of Libera for good. Well, soon enough, I had someone by the name of Paul comment on my post and say:

"Josh told me at the Atlanta concert last year, he was going no where! He was staying with Libera, so maybe he is just studying hard for those state exams. I also spotted Tom Cully at the March concert in Epson, he came in during the interval so he is still involved. "

Well, as down as I was about Josh and all, my lord, this sounded AMAZING! I immediately responded and thanked the person about their comment and asked if I could publish it(one of the main reasons that I'm even mentioning this). Paul sent another comment later:

"Hello, well its not fact but you are more than welcome to use my comments. We had lined up after the Atlanta concert for the signing and I just happened to say to Josh and Ben, now that Toms gone I suppose you two will be next? Josh smiled and said I'm going no where, so lets hope he was just studying for those important exams!"

Well, Paul, I agree with you completely. Good thing Mr. Madine is studying for those exams. It would really suck if he failed. No worries, Josh. You probably did great!!!

I really liked the way Josh answered Paul's question. "I'm going nowhere." Ha!!! I can really just imagine him saying that in the accent and all. No really, try it! It would definetely be something Josh would say. And I'm just getting that vibe of "I'm seriously not going anywhere, so stop worrying" type thing hidden in there. One more thing I have to say about this is... let's face it, Josh sounded really cool right there!!

Now, let's take all this into consideration and play the little Josh film in our heads for a bit :)

And as Paul said, we don't really know for sure if he's in or not. But I think we should keep our heads up a bit. Josh is obviously still gonna be alive and breathing and on this planet and under the same blue sky, and it's a small world, so you just never really know.

Well, sorry, that it took so long to say one thing, but as I said, it's not humanly possible to get everything into one post. Be back tomorrow!!
