I am going to start a new thing on this blog. Every first day of the month, I will post a listing of the Libera members whose birthday is in that month. Of course, I will have a special post on their actual birthday. Also, some of the people on the list will be older than some others. I just wanted to give them a chance to not be missed. After all, they were a part of Libera, too. Since I missed the first day of the month, I will do it today :) Oh yeah! And one other thing, I don't have everybody's birthday at the moment, like the newbies that just made it in. One day though, we will find out when they were born and we get to celebrate. We just have to be patient(especially me, because I'm excited to see when Matthew Madine was born XD)

Sam Coates: August 1
Sam, our Libera old faithful. Unfortunately, I missed his birthday by two days :( But it will be fun next August when I post the birthday listing AND do a happy birthday post on the same day.

Ralph Skan: August 12
It was great of him to tell us on the Fox 9 Interview :) Our dear Ralph will be turning 13. Sniffle, sniffle. They grow so fast :')

Joseph Platt: August 20
I was never that familiar with this Libera member, but there are some fans out there that remember the times when he was still with the choir. He will be turning 20 years old this month. Lol, turning 20 on August 20. That's a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!

Alfie Smart: August 24
Awww, Alfie! I miss the little squirt. I still wonder what happened to him. He will be turning 13 years old.

James Vereycken: August 26
Does he have a brother named Michael? I'm sure I've seen their last name somewhere...
James will be turning 18 this month.

Happy late birthday to Sam, and happy early birthday to Ralph, Joseph, Alfie, and James!

Interview on Fox 9

Yesterday, I went onto DearMadine's blog, Beautiful Strangers, and I found(to my complete bewilderment and overexcitement), an array of videos from a concert, and one very special news interview.. which happens to be the one that is in this post. I've been having trouble with uploading videos, for some reason, so if you can't watch it here, I strongly suggest that you go either to Beautiful Strangers and watch it there, or go to Youtube and type in 'libera interview fox 9'. It should be the first video that pops up. Oh yeah. thank you DearMadine for the information! I wouldn't have found out about this interview if she hadn't posted it first :)

Well, how should I start? I saw this interview and decided to watch it, probably because I saw beautiful Josh's name in the description under the video. So I watched it, quite absentmindedly. My brain wasn't focusing on what anyone said, but rather, on the absolutely gorgeous Josh Madine, all grown up, mature, and at least half a head taller than he was when I last saw him in the Song of Life music video. While he was talking, my mind was completely engrossed in the richness, smoothness, and silky texture of his now deep voice... and not to mention the British accent that added on to the experience.. I know I'm taking this a bit farther than I should, but come on people, think about it! This is probably the last we will see of beautiful, famous, Joshua Madine and his even more beautiful smile, and his unmistakable sweet, rich voice! Let's bask in the sunshine of his presence while we still can... or we'll regret it later.....

As for the interview, it turned out to be pretty good the second time I watched it, determined to overcome my weakness to Josh. I think all the boys did a good job with their answers, even though I thought the last question was pretty weird, because all of them seemed to answer it the same way. And Cassius really should stay and host the show :)

It's a little difficult to keep up with all that Libera is doing at the moment, but I promise I will work hard and do my best. For one, they will be doing a concert in St. Louis today. Good luck, Libera, and may the best audience be there to support you.

Oh yeah, I'm still unsure about my going to Frisco for the concert, but now that I actually saw Josh, I felt a little more relieved than I was before.

Good and Bad News...

First things first... I'm finally back from my vacation! It took a bit.. no a lot longer than I expected, so I was unable to get back to the blog. Now I'm back so I'm excited to be blogging again!

As you probably read on the title of this entry, there are some good news and some bad news. Of course, bad news first. I'm not entirely sure if I will go to the concert. That's some bad news right there. For me at least. We live in Virginia, and it will take a pretty long while to get to Texas. And the concert is a little over a week away!!! Oh well. I will fight the good fight, keep my fingers crossed, and send a prayer up every day to be able to go to the concert. It's not hopeless, because my aunt is visiting in Arkansas only a few hour's drive away from Frisco, which means my mom will want to go see her. That's a very solid stronghold I have to fulfill my dream.

I've been talking about myself too much now. Lol. Let's get down to business, shall we? Libera is oficially in the US! We American fans are delighted to be standing on the same ground, and breathing the same air as Libera. Hahaha! Of course, their first concert was on July 27, and there is another concert today in St. Paul. Very, very exciting. Even more exciting is the list of singers and songs. Thank you, DearMadine for posting a list. And many thanks to Fan_de_Lok for the information!

Holy cow, do you see the underlined names???? The moment everyone has been waiting for... the truth is unveiled... the Madines are in America. OH. MY. JOSH. It is better than I was expecting. Honestly, I was pretty sure that Josh was going to be on the tour, but if his brother is here too, then that is simply amazing. Also, I highlighted the names of the members that are relatively new to Libera. Of course, we have seen a few of them before, such as Eoghan McCarthy and Jude Collins. But there are kids up there that I had no clue existed. I guess we finally get to meet the Mini-Boys, don't we? Another thing I have to point out here is that Libera is sort of having a family reunion here. Sam Leggett didn't go on the Canadian Tour. Also, some of the songs they are using are relatively old, such as Stay with Me and Love and Mercy. I have the feeling that this is going to be the best US tour that Libera has ever been on. I'm EXTREMELY excited, and I hope I get to go. People out there who are considering on going to a concert... be there. This is something no one should miss.

Just a Quick Message

First off, hey, everybody! I just need to make a few things clear. I will be gone for at least a week next week because I am going to a camp in the mountains, where its so secluded, you can hear the bears scratching at your cabin window at nighttime. Obviously, there is absolutely no signal there, so I cannot catch up with Libera or this blog. Sad sad, and it's such a bad time too, right before the tour. Please, if you can, send me an e-mail with some updates, because after the camp week, I will leave immediately for Miami and I will have a little time to catch up. Well, given our hotel has WiFi, anyways. Another thing, I have made a little rescheduling with my concert planning. Instead of attending the St. Louis concert, I will most likely be going to Frisco, since my dad has business in Arkansas around that time.

Moving on. I have soo much busy work this summer, but luckily, Libera manages to make their way into every day. Today, I looked in my mailbox, and I found the Libera Angel Voices Concert DVD that I ordered. YAYAYAY!! I was so excited! It came a bit earlier than I expected, so I was glad. My dad and Grandma watched it with me. They both enjoyed it a lot. Just a few comments on the DVD:

The intros were really cute! Everyone did a really nice job, but they were shorter than the ones from the newer concerts. And I was happy to be re-introduced to some older members like Tom Cole and Conor O'Donell. And Michael Horncastle, of course. I was soo amused by the little baby faces of our well-known Josh, long gone Tom and Ed, and the amazingly tired look on Liam. Over all, the concert was so good, and I wish I would have been there live.

I will stay on the blog as long as I can until Sunday, when I leave. Let's hope Libera gives some more tour details until then.
