Josh is Gone???

Greetings! I am once again in my English class. I found some free time for my blog, so here I am.

I'm a little concerned because two of my fellow bloggers posted pictures of Libera members 2011, and guess what.

Josh isn't in any of them.

As I suspected, Joshua Madine is probably out of Libera. I'm not 100 percent sure because the pictures were from the Canada tours(and supposedly Josh stayed behind to study for upcoming exams), but I'm a little anxious to see if he's still in or not. Oh, Josh, don't leave now! I wanted to see you in concert!!! DON"T LEAVE!!!!!!

Even if Josh has left, his brother, Matthew Madine, is in Libera now, so maybe Josh will still show up for concerts. You can see that I'm still hanging on to the hope that I'll see him someday. Well, the world is small, so who really knows?

Now that we've mentioned him, it's worthless to end this post without bringing him in some more. So, speaking of Matthew Madine, no pictures out with him yet other than the same old- same old. I don't think he went on the Canada tour(he's too young, I think) but something tells me we'll be seeing a whole lot of him soon :) This little kid might take on his brother's role soon, so we've got to give him some credit. Though I'll never be "close" to him as I was to Josh, I'll do my best to support him in his Libera days.

I'll be back soon with more of the Canada blog. So, for now... au revoir!

Canada Info Part Two

Wow, it's been a while since I last posted. And it's been a while since I checked the Libera Canada blog. The information is really overwhelming, but I have to start somewhere. Okay, here we go.

I read over the blog and realized that I wrote an untrue post a a few weeks ago. Libera arrived on Tuesday April 12, not Thursday, April 14. There I was, all hyperactive, thinking that Libera was standing on the same continent as me, when actually, they had been doing that for two whole days. I have to say, I felt like an idiot.

Libera commented on the beds from the hotel on Tuesday night. They said they had " lovely squishy beds that we just flopped onto and fell asleep within seconds". HAHAHA! Well, whatever hotel was hosting Libera, thanks a million for offering them squishy beds! The next day, the boys ate a big breakfast and went to an ice hockey museum where they apparently had a lot of fun. Oh, and they watched the movie "Hop". Awww that would be really cute to see a bunch of tiny Libera boys staring at a bunny movie when they all look like bunnies themselves. Lol.

On Thursday, Libera performed their first concert in Canada ever. Whoever was writing the blog said that there were hundreds and hundreds of people lined up. Well, NO DUH!!! At the first concert in Canada, I'm surprised there weren't THOUSANDS of people there! Okay, I'm overexaggerating, but really, that's how it should have been.

The funniest part of the blog went something like this:

"On the way we stopped in a car park and looked out at the sunny weather and several of use decided we didn’t need our coats. And then we went outside …..and came running back. It was bitterly cold with a strong icy wind. We went to eat at a restaurant, which had a moose theme. That is particularly relevant to us, as we are in the homeland of the moose, and also, Moose is the name of our mascot – who, coincidentally, is a moose. So we posed with an enormous wooden moose which was standing outside the restaurant. But we did not have any chocolate mousse (pun intended) for dessert. That would mess around with our vocal cords. No, we had ice cream for our sweet, and then we were on our way."

Oh, boys, haven't you learned anything about Canada? It's really cold there. Yes, even in April, unlike your dear England. Ha. Don't worry! Just remember to keep your jackets on the next time you go for a tour there.

Speaking of the moose comment, I didn't know England was the homeland of the moose! Well, I guess you really learn something new every day!

As for the other moose parts, I don't need to comment on them. They speak for themselves. Especially the chocolate mousse joke.

Part two of the Canada tour series...complete!! I'll post again soon!
I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE MATERIAL ON THIS POST!!!!! ALL CREDIT GOES TO THE OFFICIAL LIBERA WEBSITE!!!

Easter Mass at a Canada Church

Just a heads up to anyone who hasn't seen the post on Official Libera's website. They will be singing at the  Church of Our Lady Immaculate. I have no idea where that church is located, but obviously it's somwhere close to the location of the last concert. It's going to be quite a show, I must say.
I would have had another part of the Canada Tour series, but at the moment, I'm very busy, so please bear with me for a little bit.

Canada Info part 1: Mostly about singers

Okay, so I've been waiting for days and days to get some kind of information about the Libera concerts in Toronto and London, Canada. Thankfully, after waking up from a long nap, I checked some blogs and the Libera official website, and guess what I found!!! A whole stash of awesome information about the Canada tour so far! I was so excited, I pretty much skimmed through it all and picked out information here and there.

I got some info about my all time favorites, Liam and Josh, and some of it is NOT SO GOOD NEWS

Okay, let's begin with Liam. His hair is shorter now, which, in my opinion, looks really REALLY good on him :) :) :) He did an interview with Kavana and Freddie (they look so cute in the pictures I'll be posting soon) and that's pretty much all I've got about him.

Next up is Josh. Like I said, NOT SO GOOD NEWS!!!! From the sources I have gotten, all point out one extremely saddening fact:

JOSH WAS NOT PRESENT AT THE CONCERTS. WHAT THE FUDGE?!?!?!?!

Yes, according to all of the pictures, I have not spotted Josh in any one of them. In the first Toronto concert, Liam explained that some people were studying for exams. Ahem, ahem. By that, he probably means Josh. I'm not exactly sure why on earth Josh would have to study for an exam in the middle of April, but what do I know? Maybe London's schools have different exam dates than they do in America. And come to think of it, I kind of just realized that Josh is a high schooler! Of course he'd be studying for exams!
Wait, but then that doesn't make any sense. Why would he miss on the Canada tour? Really, there must have been a zillion girls waiting for him to give that dazzling smile. Poor girls :(
For some reason, I feel like Josh is starting to give up on Libera. What if he really isn't in the choir anymore? He's been on pretty much every single tour since he's been with Libera, and thousands of adoring fans have screamed for him. I bet everyone in Canada was waiting to do the same thing! Now what???

Josh, why did you do this??? Well yeah, your education's important, but did you think about your fans?

Who am I kidding, he probably did, and had to make a hard decision on whether to keep up with his grades or keep up with his fans. Josh, yeah, I'm sad that you weren't at the concerts, and the fans who were there were probably even more upset, but don't get out of Libera just yet. I still have to see that charming face in person!

Maybe Liam meant that Josh was hanging out at the hotel studying... hahaha in my dreams!!!

Part one is complete, and I'll do part two as soon as I can!

The day has finally come, guys! Libera is coming to Canada today! The concert will take place in Toronto at 7:30 in the evening. I'm so excited and I know Canada fans are just dying right now. But, right now, it's 9:23 and I'm in my english class researching Libera, while in England it's about 2:00. Libera is probably already on their way!
Good luck in Canada, guys! I'll make sure to get any videoes and pictures as I can snatch up. Hopefully there'll be a lot of things out this week.

Songs of Praise special :)

Well, spring break is almost over for me, but I wanted to share something I found over the break. I've always been hearing about that Songs of Praise special that Libera did, and speak of the devil! I found it on Libera's official website. I'll be commenting on it later. Enjoy!

Libera Photos

Since Libera is still in preparation for the Canada tour, I decided I was going to put out some pictures from the new website
I personally REALLY like this picture. Ben and Josh have really grown up!!!! What on earth?? They seem like they're really tall! Maybe it's just the outfits?

Awwww! That's cute! Other than the fact that they all look like ghosts who have no matresses to sleep on.. it's CUTE!

Josh.... what are you doing.....trying to show off your bare legs..? Hahahahahaha. They look like they're enjoying themselves :)
I wish I could have been there. Then again, I wish I could go to all their concerts.

The first and third pictures look like they are singing in a Buddhist temple. Am I right? And how on earth do they make all those cool light effects??

Someone really likes taking pictures of Libera boys' backs lol. You kind of feel like you're one of them and you'r a bit shorter than the guys in front of you and all you can see are their backs :))

Now this is cool. Their robes look awesome in the wind.. hey! Who has the picture of their faces? Someone's doing the back thing again!
Nice shot, boys! You really know how to make yourselves look professional. Because you are!!!

In the end, they're all just a bunch of sightseeing boys. Nice shades... who is that anyway?? Kavana looks like a real tourist with the lanyard. And Sam... why are you so freakin tall???

I swear, one day, Libera will have all glasses boys. British boys with glasses who sing as high as Everest. I see Cassius got the same glasses as Henry :)
In the first picture, Alex(I think) has a pair of glasses on his eyes and a pair attached to his shirt. More Glassesssss!!! And can anyone tell me what Josh is carrying under his arm?

Yeah, cool down, boys. I bet you're stuffed in those robes. Wait, don't stick your head in the water! You could drownnnn!

Awwww! Happy Birthday, Freddie!!!!!!! Nice cake you've got there!
Gee, I'd give anything for Libera to sing me the happy birthday song in those nice harmonies of theirs ;D

Cassius: Staring intently at the organ. Maybe I can play it with my brain....concentrate...
Dear Cassius, I am certain you can play the organ if you try!! Maybe you already know how... OHH I'M DIGGING YOUR GLASSES!

Church after church after church.. wow England has a lot of churches! All the more for Libera to perform in!

I think this was on the set for that Eternal Light music video.

Yep, that's the set! Sing it, Stefan! Those candles look like they could fall any minute. Watch your heads, guys!
Now, Ralph, what did I tell you NOT to do?? Jonathan's just like this is gonna be fun.. smirk.

What's with the light effects again?? They are so awesome!  Just breathtaking! Whoever chooses those effects is pretty darn good cuz the lights always match the song Libera is singing.

Has anyone noticed how often these boys get put in the little triangle formations?

Mini- James looks like he's gonna hypnotise you any minute now. I wish there were more pictures of individual choristers. They look good when they stand alone.

To all you fans who were thirsty for some Josh... here's to you.
Josh: Hah! You see this, right? Right? Don't I look just fantastic in this cowboy hat? The country boy figure looks good on me, right? Here, I'm gonna pose for you. One, two three, CHEEZE! HAHAHAHAHA
Yes, Josh, that's one darn good picture. It's frame worthy!!
Jonathan: Look away, my boy, just walk away from Josh. He's going to be back to normal in a bit. LOLOLOL!!!

And this concludes the picture album for today. I pay all respects to the Libera website, as that is where I got these pictures from. Ta ta for now!

Libera is Going to Canada

Here it is. Yes, it's true, Libera is going to Canada. It's a little late to say this because the tour will be in a week or so, but I'm almost as excited as the Canada fans. To think that I will be standing on the same continent as "my boys"... ahhh... it's so refreshing:).
I hope the fans there will have fun, and I hope the boys get the best welcoming they can get. I know I would just pick them all up at once in a hug :)) Maybe they'll come to the US this year... before October PLEASSEE I want to see Josh Madine before he leaves!
I'll try to upload some pictures from the tour as soon as I can get them. Hopefully Josh is still in the choir this year. I heard he was still in, so I'm crossing my fingers, clenching my teeth, and sending up prayers every now and again.
Good luck in Canada, Libera!

Libera's New Website

Wow! Libera has a fun new website! The older one, in my opinion, was a little difficult to travel around, so this format is going to be a lot of help for the fans
Here it is! http://www.libera.org.uk/
Enjoy it guys!

My Very First Post!

Hello! I'm a little new to this, so I will be needing all the help I can get! :)
I'm very excited about starting this! This blog is going to be mainly about Libera, a South London boys choir(for those of you who don't know what it is).
I am personally very attached to this choir because their music helped me recover from my severe nightmares. A while back, I was struck with extremely bad dreams at night. Every dream I had involved someone killing me with a gun, and I was terrified and didn;t know what to do.
Well, one Friday evening at home with my parents, I was on Youtube searching for a song that I would be singing solo at my church. In the bar on the right, I happened to randomly click on a Silent Night video perofrmed by a choir called Libera. I watched the whole video, all the while thinking 'Are these boys or am I just dreaming?' Sure enough, the erthreal sound was coming from the small group of young boys, who I thought were too young and were singing too high at the time.
It took me quite a while to get used to their songs, and shortly afterward, I bought the MP3 songs from Amazon. I always listened to Libera before I went to sleep, and little by little, my nightmares wore off. I was amazed by what those boys could do, and I felt indebted to them.
I am starting this blog to repay "my boys" for helping me get through a hard and terrifying time in my life
